Curriculum Plans
Each class publishes a termly curriculum newsletter outlining planning for termly topics so as to keep parents up to date with their children's learning. Take a look on the Creative Curriculum page for more information.
Meals and Snacks
School meals are cooked on school premises at a cost of £2.00 per day/£10.00 weekly, and are payable a week in advance on Monday morning.
Both schools operate a NUT FREE policy.
As part of out healthy eating policy pupils in KS1 are offered a portion of fruit each day. This facility is provided by the National Lottery 'Free Fruit for Schools' Scheme.
Foundation stage children up to the age of 5 receive free school milk on a daily basis.
As par of our induction process our School Nurse is available to speak with new parents about any health or dietary issues.
Homework
To reinforce learning, all children are set daily and weekly homework. If you would like more information please see our Homework Statement listed in the policies section.
Transport
Transport to Great Casterton is available for children from Stretton, Clipsham and Pickworth. This service is the responsibility of the Local Education Authority. For more information contact 01572 772 390.
Parking
As there are no facilities for parents to park on school premises, we ask them to please park carefully on the streets adjacent to the school, so that children are able to enter and leave the school safely.
